biio. is an integrated multidisciplinary clinical service specialising in complex, chronic, and invisible conditions — including hereditary connective tissue disorders, autonomic dysfunction, and their neurological intersections.
We are seeking a Consultant Neurologist with an interest in headache medicine, migraine, dysautonomia, and chronic pain to join our specialist team. This role combines focused diagnostic assessment with ongoing management within a structured, well-supported clinical framework.
Patients presenting to our neurology pathway frequently carry intersecting diagnoses: migraine or intractable headache, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), chronic pain, and hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS) or hypermobility spectrum disorders (HSD). Many have seen multiple specialists without resolution. Your role is to bring neurological clarity to this picture.
Prior to your consultation, patients complete comprehensive pre-workup — validated symptom tools, autonomic screening, relevant pathology, and a structured clinical summary — all available in a single integrated digital workspace. You arrive at the consultation informed, not catching up.
You’ll provide neurological assessment, diagnostic synthesis, and a management plan that integrates with biio.’s multidisciplinary team across rheumatology, cardiology, physiotherapy, and psychology. Referrals, correspondence, and administrative tasks are handled by our clinical support team, so your time is spent doing what you do best.
Most uniquely, you will change lives here. Patients at the intersection of headache, autonomic dysfunction, and connective tissue disorders face years of dismissal, misdiagnosis, and fragmented care. A neurologist who can hold the full clinical picture doesn’t just make a diagnosis — they give patients a language for their experience, and a genuine pathway forward.
Engagement is via contractor agreement, with flexible sessional commitment and competitive remuneration reflecting the specialist nature of this work.
