Dr Alex Wright is a Consultant Neurologist, currently completing an Epilepsy Fellowship at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. At biio., his clinical focus is complex headache and migraine presentations, and he is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Headache Society.
Alex assesses headache and migraine in people who are already living with other chronic conditions, where fatigue, brain fog and sensory sensitivity can have more than one source. He takes a detailed history, works out how much of the picture is migraine, and makes a diagnosis where it applies. He then sets out a treatment plan, including medication where appropriate, and reviews how it is working over time. He works with your GP and the wider biio. team so that migraine care fits alongside everything else you are managing. The aim is a lighter symptom and sensory load, so the other conditions are easier to live with.
