Dr Madhuri Jain is a General and Developmental Paediatrician with over 20 years of experience delivering family-centred care across tertiary and community settings in Australia, India and Qatar.
At biio., Dr Jain works with children and adolescents with complex, overlapping presentations — particularly when multiple physical, developmental and mental health factors are interacting. This may include dysautonomia and POTS, hypermobility, chronic fatigue, anxiety, ADHD, autism and other developmental or chronic health concerns.
Dr Jain completed her undergraduate and postgraduate training in India before undertaking advanced training at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and John Hunter Children’s Hospital in Newcastle. She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2023 and Associate Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (AFRACMA) in 2025.
She currently serves as a Staff Specialist Paediatrician with Central Coast Local Health District and is a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of Newcastle. Her subspecialty interests include neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD, autism and developmental delay, adolescent health, acute paediatrics and complex chronic care. She also has strong involvement in clinical leadership, quality improvement and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Dr Jain is accredited to conduct the ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule) and Griffiths Scales of Child Development, Third Edition. She liaises closely with allied health professionals to provide comprehensive neurocognitive assessment, behavioural strategies and pharmacological treatment where appropriate.
