biio. is an integrated multidisciplinary clinical service for patients with complex autonomic and connective tissue presentations. Our Dysautonomia Pathway supports patients with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), inappropriate sinus tachycardia, vasovagal syndromes and the autonomic dysfunction that frequently coexists with hypermobility and chronic fatigue.

We are seeking a Cardiac Nurse Practitioner with experience in autonomic conditions to join our Dysautonomia Pathway as a key clinical voice in ongoing assessment and management.

These patients have been told it was anxiety while their heart rate data told a different story. Labelled deconditioned when they could no longer stand for class. Sent home with a normal ECG and a sense that no one believed the lived reality of fainting at school, brain fog after meals, or a resting tachycardia that has its own logic. They need a clinician who recognises the autonomic pattern, not just the rhythm strip.

Before each consultation, the workup is in place — active stand testing where indicated, Holter and tilt results where available, validated dysautonomia questionnaires, fluid and salt diaries, and a structured symptom timeline collated in biio.'s integrated digital workspace, the biiography. You arrive ready to think, not to chase a referral letter.

You'll work alongside biio.'s consultant neurologist, rheumatology team, physiotherapy, dietetics and exercise physiology — the disciplines that make dysautonomia management actually sustainable. Care coordination and correspondence are handled by our support team.

Most uniquely, you will change lives here. Dysautonomia patients are routinely dismissed because their cardiology workup is "normal." A cardiac nurse practitioner who can read autonomic dysfunction with confidence doesn't just adjust a beta-blocker — they give a patient the words for what their body has been telling them for years.

Engagement is via contractor agreement, with flexible sessional commitment and competitive remuneration reflecting the specialist nature of this work.
